Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish

Hello again :)

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish is as absolute genius in my eyes. I have combination skin, cant decide if its dry or if its oily so its hard for me to find a good product that will do a brilliant job of removing my make-up and also giving my face and pores a really good clean. It contains natural ingredients so hopefully it works well with my face.  I have been saying, that I was going to buy this for ages, and finally went into John Lewis yesterday and purchased it YAY! It retails at £14.25 for the starter pack which comes with 2 muslin cloths. I wear Estee Lauder Double Wear and if you've worn this before you will know, it is hard to remove which makes it a brilliant foundation but it stresses me when I try to quickly remove it with a wipe or a cheaper cleanser as it doesnt budge grrr. But I tried this last night alongside the muslin cloth and the foundation came off , well basically everything did! Even my eyeshadow, mascara the whole lot which really impressed me. After removing the make-up I always do another cleanse ( double cleanse ) to make sure the pores underneath the makeup get a right good clean.

Heres a swatch of the consistency. It is really thick and spreads easily. For me, I only used one pump, rubbed it together in my hands to warm it up and then spread over my neck, cheeks, nose and forehead and started rubbing it in circular motions starting from the neck to the top. I was quite shocked when I seen the colour of the cloth after it haha - looked very dirty but not to fear this does wash out straight away with a bit of soap and water - phew! I thought I was going to have to pop it in the washing machine after 1 use.

Overall, I am so impressed with this and it is really worth the money & I am definately going to keep buying it :)

  3. I'm pretty sure I saw someone say that Red magazine was doing a promotion with this as a free gift, yet when I saw Red magazine in my local supermarket today (I specifically looked for it, it's not a magazine I read) they weren't! I was pretty gutted as I would love to try this product, but can't really afford to go full hog and buy it xo

  4. Ah I read this too on other blogs&forums, apparently its the May edition and the travel size magazine doesnt have it, its the larger one. but the magazine is 3.90 and the cleanser with it is worth 5.50 so if you cant get your hands on it them Im guessing its not really great a deal anyway unless you read that magazine. xxx
