Tresemme Liquid Gold Review

Hello Lovelies

So, Finally got my hands on the new Tresemme Liquid Gold. Been hunting for it everywhere since the release date & I was lucky enough to find it in Tesco. Boots & Superdrug etc hadnt yet loaded it to their shelves so I was checking absolutely everywhere for it and managed to get it in like I said Tesco ( Larger Stores ). It retails at £6.99 which I think is a great price - of course a tad on the pricier side for Tresemme but still cheap enough.

I use this on the ends of my hair as I have quite dry, kind of split ends due to not having it cut in nearly a year cause I'm trying to grow as much out as I can first before getting a chop. I really should try the Tresemme Split Ends line as Ive heard its amazing but for now I tried this out to see if it temporarily solved my problem. Which it did! I applied one pump and this was more than enough - It doesnt look much in the palm of your hand but it really is enough and I have medium length hair. Instantly the ends were shiney and felt very smooth. It kind of smells like Refreshers sweets, couldnt quite identify what the smell was ( something sweet anyway ) and thanks to someone from the Tresemme twitter team mentioning that they thought it smelt of Refreshers actually jigged my memory that it does kind of! Love it! It is a good consistency and Im really enjoying using it.

I also used it on dry hair yesterday before straightening, and this actually worked well too. Moving into today my ends are still really soft and shiney. I've heard others say its similar to Moroccan Oil but Ive yet to use that so cant really compare.

Ive never been a fan of oils before for my hair, but this may have just converted me

Have you used this?

Let me know your thoughts :)

Ashton x

  1. I'd love to try this, particularly on my ends like you have. I think I'd really have to avoid my root area though as I have naturally oily hair! Great review, I hadn't even heard of it until I read this so thank you! xo

  2. Me too so I just put it at the ends of my hair, my hair goes oily looking the day after Ive washed it so dont want anything to make it worse xxx

  3. Im dying to try this but not found it yet either. i think a tesco trip is in order! x
